Duties


  1. Engage in school students’ admissions ,transfers and dismissal activities.
  2. Supervising the educational, administrative and financial affairs of an educational institution or department within the institution.
  3. Conducting Research on Educational polices and evaluate them whenever necessary.
  4. Keeping the communication with educational institutions, parents and the wider community to improve the educational facilities across the zone.
  5. Providing advice on policy and procedures to Principals, Teachers and students.
  6. Coaching academic and nonacademic staff to conduct educational programs for policy implementation.
  7. Work related to provide Grade 5 Scholarships and other Scholarships.
  8. Approving School Educational trips.
  9. Work related to provide grade 5 and other scholarships.
  10. Analyze the current and future needs of staff and student needs.
  11. Matter relating to school development fund and facility fees.
  12. Distribution of free school uniform to children’s and textbooks.
  13. Carrying out research to improve education systems and monitor new trends in education.
  14. Identify issues while implement the curriculum in schools.
  15. Forwarding recommendations for acquisition of school lands, Land and harvesting activities.
  16. Approval of below subject matters of National Schools & 1AB Schools.
    1. Time Table
    2. School calendar
    3. Facilities & other services fees
  17. Conducting training programs for teachers and principals.
  18. Co-ordination of public examinations.
  19. Conducting disciplinary inquiries.
  20. Other duties assigned by the Provincial Education Director/ Zonal Education Director any needful situation.
